The YWCA's 40 Berkeley Street site has served as an adult dormitory for Boston women and students since 1888.  Reconstructed in 1950, this architecturally significant building boasts 200+ rooms, 24 hour reception, longe areas, a cafeteria and an outdoor courtyard.  Located where Boston's Back Bay meets the South End, the Berkeley Residence is an ideal short and long-term home for many single women, students and travelers.
