Through active neighborhood interest in redevelopment of this area of Cambridge in the 1970s, a community based non-profit worked with JAS to acquire these eight buildings, originally constructed in the early 1900s. The buildings, which range from a single-family house to large triple deckers, and townhouse rows, were substantially rehabbed in 1975, to create 45 affordable units.
