“At Maloney, our legacy isn’t just about the decades of experience behind us; it’s about the foundation that experience provides for what’s next. We are constantly evolving—combining our deep roots in community-driven management with a forward-thinking vision that anticipates the future of the housing industry.“
A cornerstone of Maloney Properties since 1983, Kathy Tyrrell Luce is a regional property management specialist as well as a pivotal architect of corporate strategy. While her roots are firmly planted in the successful management of complex, mixed-income housing across Massachusetts and Vermont, Kathy now directs her focus toward the firm’s long-term success and vision. As an Executive Leader in the firm, she bridges the gap between decades of operational excellence and the high-level corporate relations that sustain Maloney’s industry leadership.
Kathy is widely recognized as a premier expert in nonprofit and resident-owned housing structures. Having directed Maloney’s Vermont office since 1989, she has mastered the art of streamlining complex funding and ownership models to create thriving communities. Today, she leverages this deep institutional knowledge as an internal consultant and mentor, ensuring quality assurance and strategic start-up support are woven into the fabric of every new Maloney project.
Beyond her corporate impact, Kathy is a dedicated advocate for the housing industry, holding long-standing leadership roles in organizations like the Champlain Housing Trust and the New England Resident Services Coordinators (NERSC). Her career is defined by a rare blend of operational grit and visionary thinking, making her an invaluable asset to the organization and a respected voice in the evolution of regional property management.
