Oumar Diakite is the financial architect guiding Maloney Properties’ fiscal health across a diverse and growing portfolio. With a career rooted in affordable housing, Oumar has been with the team since 2002, transitioning from the financial oversight of a complex portfolios to directing the entire Accounting Department. He ensures that banking, controls, and accounting systems are robust, secure, and seamlessly coordinated between the accounting and finance team and the company’s various departments and sites.

With a deep understanding of multi-layered financing, Oumar is an expert at navigating the complexities of HUD, MassHousing, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs. He has been instrumental in the success of numerous high stakes refinancings, restructures, and acquisitions, providing the steady hand and technical precision required to manage properties with intricate ownership structures, various financial covenants, and subsidy requirements.

Oumar holds an MBA from Suffolk University and brings nearly three decades of high-level property accounting experience to the leadership team. Known for his ability to translate complex financial data into actionable corporate strategy, he is a vital resource for both corporate and property-level operations, ensuring Maloney remains a model of financial integrity and industry excellence.
