With a career rooted in affordable housing, Oumar has been with the team since 2002, transitioning from the financial oversight of a complex portfolios to directing the entire Accounting Department. He ensures that banking, controls, and accounting systems are robust, secure, and seamlessly coordinated between the accounting and finance team and the company’s various departments and sites.
With a deep understanding of multi-layered financing, Oumar is an expert at navigating the complexities of HUD, MassHousing, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs. He has been instrumental in the success of numerous high stakes refinancings, restructures, and acquisitions, providing the steady hand and technical precision required to manage properties with intricate ownership structures, various financial covenants, and subsidy requirements.
