As Black History Month comes to a close, we’re proud to spotlight Patricia Mayo, lovingly known by residents as Miss Pat, and President of the Franklin Park Development Tenants Association (FPDTA) at Franklin Highlands.
A true force in the community, Miss Pat has helped transform Franklin into a safe, thriving neighborhood rooted in opportunity. Through job fairs for teens, computer classes for all ages, a six-week summer camp, and the Patricia Mayo Scholarship Fund — which has awarded more than 30 scholarships to local students – FPDTA continues to invest in residents at every stage of life.
