Today we honor Paulette K. Ford, and the legacy she built as President of the Camfield Tenants Association for over 25 years. A dedicated community leader, social justice advocate and educator, Paulette helped guide Camfield Estates to become one of the first properties to participate in the HUD Demo Dispo program, transforming the development into a resident owned community and establishing it as a national model for affordable housing.
Her advocacy and impact live on through her children and successors, Paulette M. Ford, and Richard S. Ford. Today, Paulette M. Ford serves as President of the Camfield Tenants Association, carrying on their mission to strengthen the community and ensure safe, stable housing for low-income families.
