Maloney Properties has always stood for equality and is committed to fair and equal treatment for all. To say the events of the past weeks have been horrible and deeply saddening is an understatement. We are outraged by the senseless and hateful murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have been robbed of their lives and to the entire Black Community across the United States.
We stand with our Black colleagues, clients, residents and community activists. We hear you and we support you. Systemic racism is evident daily in our nation and we must encourage and promote change. We are deeply proud of the diversity within our organization and in the communities in which we work. Our promise is that Maloney Properties remains committed to standing against racism and discrimination. We will continue to listen to Black perspectives, educate ourselves, remain engaged and be an ally to the Black community and communities of color. As our organization grows, we are committed to expanding upon the diversity in our workplace and continuing to work with, and support minority and women owned businesses that align with our core values of humanity, inclusion, equality, fairness and social justice.
We are so thankful for the dedication displayed by our team who continue to meet the needs of residents and clients during this exceptionally challenging time.
