Edna Bynoe was honored on June 20, 2011 for her role in shaping Orchard Garden Estates and the surrounding community in Roxbury. Over 200 community members and elected officials gathered as Orchard Park was dedicated and renamed the Edna V. Bynoe Community Park.  It is so fitting this park is being renamed after Edna,’’ said Diana Kelly, vice president of Maloney Properties Inc., which manages Orchard Gardens. “For the youth, the more they know about Edna, the more they will protect this and preserve it for the future.’’
