Michelle Spicer oversees Maloney’s HR Department and serves as a trusted advisor to a successful leadership team whose mission is to affect change in a continually growing environment. With over 30 years of experience, she is responsible for human resources operations including organizational strategic planning, talent acquisition, technology, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).

Prior to joining the organization, Michelle was a Human Resources Generalist at Pearson Education and provided national support for the Higher Education Division. She was also the Human Resources Manager for Mayo Group where she was a strategic partner in the growth and development of the real estate firm from a 25 to more than 200 employee organization spanning multiple states in just 3 years. Michelle also supervised a team of Human Resources professionals for 6 years at East Cambridge Savings Bank. Her career in Human Resources began at Fidelity Investments while completing her undergraduate degree.

Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Suffolk University. She also completed the YWCA’s LeadBoston Program in 2020. She is a Member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).
