We had the honor to sit with Brigadier General Enoch Woodhouse II, one of the last surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American military aviators in the US Armed Forces.
General Woodhouse reflected on joining the US Army Air Corps at just 17 years old, enduring racism and discrimination with resilience and determination for advancement. He achieved a successful
40-year career as a private practice trial lawyer and attorney in the US State Department and for the City of Boston.
General Woodhouse calls one of our managed communities home. Knowing someone of his strength and legacy is something we hold with deep respect. It is a privilege to share his remarkable story. Thank you, General Woodhouse, for your service and lasting impact.
