Melissa Andrews, Director of IT at Maloney Properties, Inc., is Outreach Co-Chair for SIM Boston in support of Jr.Tech’s Annual Girls STEM Summit for promoting careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

SIM Boston supported Jr.Tech’s Annual Girls STEM Summit on April 10, 2016. Over 260 high-school girls, from all over Massachusetts, attended the day long event which is geared towards promoting awareness of STEM careers and providing valuable guidance to the girls as they pursue their interests.

The summit is for young women in grades 8-12 who love science, technology, engineering, and math. The goal is to impact and bridge the gap between girls’ passion for STEM topics and helping them find their way to successful STEM careers. Attendees are immersed in presentations, workshops, and discussions with successful female leaders in STEM fields. Learn more at: http://www.juniortech.org
